Biography
Dr. Thompson was born in Lorenskog, Norway (to American parents living abroad) and was raised in Pella, Iowa. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Thompson also received his Master’s in Public Health. Dr. Thompson has lived in Africa and Asia and spent time working in a pediatric HIV clinic. He speaks Chinese, Spanish and some Korean. His focus of practice is general pediatrics. He is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Thompson is married and has two daughters. He enjoys biking, hiking, camping, cooking and traveling.
