The PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cardiovascular Center is honored to provide award-winning care to patients in Northwest Washington. The Cardiovascular Center recently earned a distinguished three-star rating from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for its patient care and outcomes in cardiothoracic surgery and was labeled a top-performing cardiac program by The Foundation for Health Care Quality and Cardiac Care Outcomes Assessment Program (COAP)—both for its Cardiothoracic Surgery Outcomes and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Program.

Transcatheter valve certification badge from the American College of Cardiology (ACC)In February 2021, the Cardiovascular Center was certified by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) for its demonstrated expertise and commitment to treating patients with moderate to severe heart valve disease with transcatheter valve implantation (or TAVI, also known as TAVR) procedures. It is the first health care provider in Washington state and among fewer than 30 in the nation to receive this esteemed distinction.

Earning awards is a matter of pride. However, caring for the most hearts in our region is the Cardiovascular Center’s proudest achievement.
