Physicians and other interested Health Care Professionals in the Lower Columbia Region

Learner Objectives

  • Assess the quality of a clinical review article published in one of the major peer reviewed journals such as Journal of American Journal of Emergency Medicine, The American Journal of Cardiology, Circulation, the New England Journal of Medicine, etc.
  • Analyze and interpret presented data
  • Apply evidence based data to the treatment of patients, including difficult to treat or treatment resistant disorders
  • Dissect and appropriately evaluate statistics used in analysis of original research presented in above mentioned journals
  • Appropriately critique conclusions drawn from reviewed articles
