VANCOUVER, Wash. – David Ruiz, MD, medical director of PeaceHealth’s Family Medicine of Southwest Washington clinic, recently earned the prestigious Bravo Award from the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber.

The chamber celebrates the contributions of Latinos nationally and locally. This year, Dr. Ruiz is one of five recipients to receive the Bravo Award. Dr. Ruiz was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, is bicultural and bilingual, an original member of the first youth mariachi in the United States, and a former professional musician.
