Sikarin Upala, MD, an Endocrinologist, relocated from Illinois to practice in Longview. He is board certified in Internal Medicine Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism along with being board certified in Obesity Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, he has a Master of Science in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology at The University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. His areas of focus include diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and transgender care. Away from work, Dr. Upala enjoys traveling and hiking.
