Biography
We welcomed Robert Charles Oram, MD, FACS, FRCS, to the PeaceHealth Wound Healing Center team of providers in 2020. Dr. Oram comes to PeaceHealth from Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, where he practiced for 30 years.
Dr. Oram’s work has focused on non-cardiac thoracic and vascular surgery. He has special medical interests in wound care, specifically venous stasis ulcers and critical limb ischemia.
“I believe in outlining a patient’s treatment plan in a straightforward and understandable way, so they know exactly what needs to be done to treat the condition at hand,” he said.
Dr. Oram is fluent in French. When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys hiking, golf, pickleball, photography and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
“I always do my best for every patient-- helping them to understand both what is going on and why,” he said.
