Rex C. Liu, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Cardiology Bellingham team of providers in February of 2017. Dr. Liu has dedicated his career to caring for patients with heart failure. He says, “I practice in the area of heart failure to witness patients improve in their physical health and mental well-being by providing hope and state-of-the-art care.” Prior to coming to Bellingham, Dr. Liu was previously with Comprehensive Cardiovascular Specialists in Alhambra, California. His varied research has included basic science, pharmaceutical and medical device trials for heart failure treatment. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Liu is also an accomplished musician. He once traveled the world as a solo concert violinist. When he isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Liu enjoys playing golf, fishing and chasing after his twin daughters.
