Pavan Parashar, MD, joined the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Palliative Care team of providers in November 2018.
Prior to moving to Bellingham, Dr. Parashar provided patient consult services as a palliative care physician at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington.
Dr. Parashar has a special medical interest in caring for patients with cancer-associated pain. “It is a privilege to make meaningful connections and support patients and their families dealing with challenging illnesses,” he said.
Dr. Parashar is fluent in French and is learning Spanish.
When not working, Dr. Parashar likes to explore new places and cultures. He has visited over 20 countries. He dedicates much of his free time to reading and practicing meditation. He’s also an avid fan of Manchester United Football Club. He is thrilled to be in the Pacific Northwest and close to his family in Vancouver, British Columbia.
