Muneera Khan, PA-C, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group – Whatcom team in January 2022 working within the Gastroenterology Department. Muneera completed both her undergraduate Bachelor of Science and graduate Physician Assistant degrees at D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York. Muneera is a certified physician assistant and has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2017. She comes to us most recently from Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY, where she provided inpatient care. She is excited to bring her extensive inpatient experience and skills into the clinical setting. Whether in the inpatient or clinical setting, Muneera seeks to communicate and collaborate with her patients. Muneera shared, “I’m a firm believer in ensuring clear and effective communication with my patients.” In addition, Muneera enjoys keeping up to date on the latest evidence-based approaches to medicine and finds it fulfilling to share her knowledge with others. She has previously served as a preceptor for medical students in critical care helping impart wisdom and knowledge onto the next generation of providers. When not in the clinical setting, Muneera is an avid traveler. She also speaks Urdu.
