We welcomed Martin Tinkerhess, MD, to the PeaceHealth Medical Group Burlington Family Medicine team of providers in 2019.
Dr. Tinkerhess has special medical interests in health informatics, behavioral health, pediatrics, office procedures, and complementary and alternative medicine. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, he completed his family medicine residency with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Tinkerhess’ research has largely focused on the genetics of malaria vaccine development and the genetics of endurance exercise.
“I help my patients understand their body’s natural capacity for healing and work together with them to maintain optimal health.”
Dr. Tinkerhess was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is excited to explore all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Away from the clinical setting, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and their beagle.
