Julie Kilzer, NP, joined PeaceHealth in 2021. She provides care for oncology and cardiology clinic patients, as well as conducts palliative care home visits. Julie strives to fulfill her patients’ needs by listening and acting on their goals and values. After 20 years in healthcare that included work in critical care and OB, she became interested in palliative care, now focusing on improving the quality of life - physical, psychological, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing - through a multidisciplinary approach.
“Active listening is key to truly understand how to best serve my patients, and this allows me to come up with creative, patient-specific methods to alleviate symptoms,” said Julie.
During her free time, Julie enjoys traveling the world alongside her husband. Moving to the Pacific Northwest from Chicago, she also spends time hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and enjoying area food carts.
