Joseph Gabriel, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology team of providers in August 2021. Dr. Gabriel was most recently a gastroenterology fellow at East Tennessee University. His medical interests include the study of fatty liver and esophageal diseases. “I use the advances of science for the betterment of my patients’ quality of life," he said. His volunteer experiences include a medical expedition with the Himalayan Health Exchange to Himachal Pradesh, India, and as a Medical Unit and ER volunteer at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Gabriel enjoys travel and is fluent in Tagalog. He looks forward to exploring the Pacific Northwest with his German Shepard as he pursues his hobbies of hiking and snowboarding. He also plays the violin and alto saxophone.
