Janae Z. Brill MD

,

Janae Brill, MD provides patient care along with training resident doctors at PeaceHealth’s highly-regarded Family Medicine Residency program. She earned her bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University, Masters of Public Health from Emory University, medical degree from OHSU, and completed her medical residency at Lancaster General Health. Brill has a lifelong interest in helping others. Her earliest memories include putting bandages and casts on both dolls and playmates. “For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a doctor. I just knew this was what I wanted to do with my life. It’s exciting my long-standing dream has become a reality!” Brill’s desire to care for others has only grown with time, along with her understanding of how best to serve her patients. “I believe everyone deserves access to health care and I want to be a part of making that happen. My goal is to help my patients prevent illness and optimally manage their chronic conditions.” Brill has a successful record in helping patients struggling with addiction issues, including more than a decade providing buprenorphine treatment. “I try my best to provide non-judgmental care and meet my patients where they are.” Brill’s medical career has taken her to a wide variety of locations including Kodiak, Alaska; Bangkok, Thailand; and Cuzco, Peru. When she is not caring for patients she can be found traveling with her family, crafting, gardening, and enjoying audio books. She says her greatest non-medical interest is baking, and by her estimation has more than 100 different cookie cutters. “It’s my stress relief. The more complicated the recipe, the better! The most fun part about baking is sharing my creations with my friends, family and co-workers.”
