Hilary Gerber is a board-certified osteopathic physician who moved to the Vancouver area to join PeaceHealth. A native of Miami Beach, she was eager to move to the Pacific Northwest to practice with a patient population that treasures the outdoors and whole-body approaches to wellness, as she does. She trained as a midwife prior to going to medical school, and finished almost two years of extra obstetrics and gynecology training in addition to a complete family medicine residency. She is a fervent patient advocate who approaches patient care as a collaborative educational effort, and is looking forward to establishing long term relationships with patients who care as much about their health as she does. She specializes in women’s care including pregnancy and birth, newborn care, breastfeeding support, contraception, and whole family care including management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, asthma, depression and diabetes.
