Biography

Emily Anderson, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, joined PeaceHealth in 2023 in the Gastroenterology Department. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice - Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. She also brings almost a decade of nursing experience in general practice, gastroenterology and progressive care. Before joining PeaceHealth she practiced for a major hospital system in Seattle, where she assisted in a large-scale research project to help patients experiencing stroke get care faster. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. As a provider, her practice philosophy is patient-centered. "I like to take the time to listen to my patients, provide education and collaborate with them so they can make informed decisions about their health," she said. "I value evidence-based practices to ensure my patients receive high-quality care." In her free time, Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping and biking.
