Dempsie B. Morrison IV, DO, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology team in 2020. Dr. Morrison is providing services at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, PeaceHealth United General Medical Center, PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center and PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center in Alaska. Dr. Morrison previously worked at Centennial Gastroenterology Associates in Roseburg, Ore. He received his bachelor’s degree from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Fla. Dr. Morrison completed an internal medicine residency in West Virginia before receiving his master’s degree in medical education. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Mill Creek Community Hospital in Erie, Penn. Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Morrison has been living in the Pacific Northwest since 2013. His interest in traveling to remote areas to provide excellent medical care truly makes him an asset to the PeaceHealth team. In his spare time, Dr. Morrison enjoys being in the great outdoors, hiking, fishing, kayaking and playing soccer. He also has an affinity for computers and technology.
