David E. Applebury, DO, joined the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center team of providers as a pulmonary hospitalist in August 2021.
Dr. Applebury came to PeaceHealth most recently from Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He was involved in a grant-funded project to design and create a scalable emergency healthcare infrastructure using critical care telemedicine.
“Helping families navigate complex medical care, particularly critical care, is rewarding to me," he said.
At Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane, Washington, Dr. Applebury was involved in quality improvement projects to improve care and in the investigation of pancreatic outcomes.
Dr. Applebury looks forward to sharing the Pacific Northwest outdoor life with his wife and their daughter. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backpacking, hiking and canoeing, which give him many opportunities to pursue another hobby: photography.
