Angelica Kominsky, NP, joined the PeaceHealth Cardiology team in January 2022. Angelica has nearly 20 years of nursing experience, 17 of those years as a registered nurse and more recently as a family nurse practitioner. Angelica specializes in cardiac care. Previously, Angelica cared for inpatients on cardiac units. More recently, Angelica treated patients in an outpatient setting to address acute and chronic cardiac issues.
Angelica’s extensive experience began with earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Southern California. She worked in various hospital settings across the country building her skillset and expertise before landing in Bellingham, Washington. In 2019 Angelica earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University and has since practiced as a family nurse practitioner. She joins us most recently from Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, Washington, where she cared for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting addressing cardiac issues.
Angelica focuses much of her attention on helping patients through preventative primary care while being readily able to address acute and chronic conditions. She works collaboratively with the other members of the medical team and has demonstrated an interest in mentorship through serving as a nursing preceptor in a previous role.
