Courageous Kids offers weekly support groups for children and families grieving the death of a loved one. Participants can learn that they are not alone in whatever they might be experiencing. Caregivers can experience peer support and learn ways to support their children and teens. We use art therapy, drama, sand play and discussion to give voice to thoughts and feelings, and to remember our loved ones.
To attend a support, we need to meet you in person for an intake appointment. Sign up for this group or contact us directly to schedule an intake appointment.
TEEN support group: (Middle and High School)
Mondays, 5:30-6:45
Offered Spring, Summer & Fall
TEEN CAREGIVERS support group: Meet concurrently in adjacent room (Optional)
We do not charge for groups and depend solely on donations.
Groups meet at Courageous Kids Headquarters, 677 East 12th Avenue, Suite N180, Eugene, OR 97401.
