PeaceHealth invited to explore affiliation with Yakima's Memorial Family of Services

PeaceHealth, in strategic collaboration with UW Medicine, has been invited to be considered for a potential affiliation with Memorial Family of Services, including Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

“PeaceHealth has a track record of expanding access and services when invited to collaborate with new communities,” said Peter Adler, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. “Memorial, like PeaceHealth, has a strong not-for-profit tradition and is committed to improving local access to health care. We look forward to exploring ways in which PeaceHealth and UW Medicine can work with Memorial for the benefit of their patients and community.”
In addition to PeaceHealth, other organizations under consideration are Providence (including Swedish), and Virginia Mason Medical Center. Memorial’s exploration process is expected to take nine to 12 months.
If selected, Memorial would become the centerpiece of PeaceHealth’s fourth Network of Care.
