President & Chief Executive Officer
Liz is a registered dietitian and holds a master’s degree in Business and Computer Resource Management. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, she served as community chief executive officer for Providence Health & Services in South Bay, Calif. After 10 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Liz served 10 years in the reserves, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. She is the first lay woman leader of the PeaceHealth system and is committed to our legacy of enabling the well-being of communities.
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer
Carol’s deeply held commitment to caregivers and providers is backed by more than 30 years in senior leadership in human resources and Catholic health ministries. Prior to PeaceHealth, at St. Joseph Health, Carol led efforts that helped garner the worldwide Gallup Great Workplace Award three consecutive years. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
Executive Vice President, Strategy & Community Health
Mike offers more than 30 years of leadership experience in the health care industry. He’s worked with major health care clients across the country, helping them grow and transform to meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry. Mike oversees PeaceHealth’s strategy, business development, philanthropy, community benefit and health, and strategic joint alliances and health ventures. Bringing these groups together enables greater collaboration between PeaceHealth and our community partners.
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Kimberly has a proven background as a Catholic health care financial executive leader. She’s also an advocate of community health improvement programs and a longtime proponent of community benefit programs. She has helped launch initiatives that improved access to high quality care in the communities where she has served. She holds joint master's degrees from Western Michigan University: an MBA in finance and an MA in nuclear physics.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Ron brings a wealth of strategic experience, wisdom and judgment to PeaceHealth. Having previously worked at the law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, he has specialized in corporate strategy counsel as well as transactional, regulatory and financial guidance. Ron is a native Oregonian and is highly regarded throughout the Pacific Northwest because of his inherent mission-based interest in public service. In addition to his 2006 candidacy for governor in his home state, Ron’s commitment to the public good includes service as president of the Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges and Universities, as a member of the Oregon Public Broadcasting Board of Directors, as founding president of the Portland Schools Foundation, and much more.
Renato V. “Val” Baciarelli
Senior Vice President, Operations & System Services
Val came to PeaceHealth from Denver, Colorado, where he was a national vice president for Catholic Health Initiatives. He has more than 30 years of Catholic healthcare leadership across the United States in system office and hospital settings. and was drawn to PeaceHealth by caring focus. He holds an MS in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, Texas.
System Vice President, Governance & Chief of Staff
Steve first joined PeaceHealth as vice president for information systems technology governance, bringing with him more than 15 years in health care project management in the Portland/Vancouver area. Steve holds a BS in Chemistry from Portland State University, as well as Project Management Institute training. Steve appreciates the diverse talents of PeaceHealth caregivers, who all come together to deliver compassionate care.
Chief Executive, Columbia Network
Sean has more than 16 years of proven health care executive leadership experience, which includes an impressive track record of developing and implementing strategy, creating growth opportunities and delivering results. He has consistently demonstrated success in working within large faith-based health care systems to grow hospital services and improve patient experience. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, he served as CEO of Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center in Florida.
Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Dan has more than 20 years of experience in business IT leadership, and holds an MBA in Management and Finance from the University of Portland. He first joined PeaceHealth as the system vice president of enterprise technology. Dan is grateful for our ability to create a holistic approach to preventative care through promoting healthy lifestyles and practices.
Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer
Victoria is board certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced, holds master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Nursing, and is a co-founder of the Global Nursing Conference. She is known for creating strong and enduring nursing collaboration with physicians, patients and the communities we serve. Originally from California, she was drawn to PeaceHealth for the chance to create a successful nursing practice architecture across the system.
Chief Executive, PeaceHealth Medical Group
Mike brings more than 25 years in both non-profit and for-profit health care administration and leadership, including serving as Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations for Essentia Health East Region, Duluth; and COO for Ministry Medical Group in Wisconsin. He specializes in Lean Six Sigma management principles in healthcare, and holds an MBA from Lake Superior State University, Mich.
Chief Executive, Oregon Network
Rand served for eight years in executive leadership roles with the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit Michigan. He was also senior vice president and chief operating officer of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, Michigan. He has more than 20 years of leadership in surgical services, neurosciences, cardiovascular, ambulatory and physician practice operations. He holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
System Vice President, Mission Services
Rosanne first served PeaceHealth as Vice President of Mission, Culture and People for the hospitals in the Columbia network. She brings more than 25 years of experience to this role. Her masters' degrees are in Catholic Health Care Leadership from St. Joseph's College, Maine and Family Studies (with a certificate in public administration) from University of New Mexico. A strong advocate for human development and organizational empowerment, Rosanne is instrumental in leveraging our mission at all levels of the ministry.
Chief Executive, Northwest Network
Dale has more than 30 years at PeaceHealth in Washington and Alaska, including Vice President of PeaceHealth Medical Group, CAO, CFO and COO positions. He was named the 2015 Business Person of the Year by the Whatcom Business Alliance. He was also the 2011 "John Tiscornia Award" recipient, honoring outstanding leadership, stewardship and exemplification of PeaceHealth Values. Dale is a Washington State Board of Accountancy CPA, and has an MBA from City University in Seattle, as well as Advanced Training Program in Healthcare Delivery Improvement.
