About the Supervisors

Rev. Kevin J. Park has a degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Divinity degree from Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia. He was ordained a Baptist Minister in 2003 and is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Kevin is also a chaplain in the Army National Guard. In late 2003 Kevin was deployed to Iraq, serving as chaplain to the 1/161 Infantry Battalion.

Kevin did his Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (CAPPE) work at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. He began working at St. Joseph’s in mid-2002. Currently Kevin is a Student in Supervisory Education (SISE), progressing towards accreditation as a CPE supervisor.

 

Rev. Delmas L. Luedke has a degree in economics from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Religion from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He was ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1969. Delmas worked for 12 years in parish ministry and directed an Australian-based international development organization; he also worked as a home health and hospice chaplain.

His CPE experiences include work in a children’s hospital, parish-based CPE, an internship in a hospital for mentally ill persons and supervisory training in a general hospital. Luedke became the director of Spiritual Care at Swedish Medical Center in March 1988 and has been conducting continuous units of CPE since the program’s inception in March 1989. He has been active in local, regional and national ACPE, including currently serving as Chair of the Pacific Region of ACPE.
