Physical Therapy

Physical therapists work with patients who are dealing with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems stemming from accidents, arthritis, pre- and post- operative surgery and over-stresses to the body.

Our individualized physical therapy treatment plans are customized toward each individual’s physical capabilities and challenges, and are designed to return our patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, coordination and sensation, while minimizing pain during the process.

Through the use of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional training and joint mobilization techniques, our certified physical therapists can treat:
  • Back pain
  • Pelvic pain
  • Bladder control
  • Balance issues
  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Work related injuries
  • Pelvic floor weakness
  • Neurological disorders
  • Vestibular impairments
  • Women’s health issues
Our physical therapy department also provides a Motion Analysis Lab for runners and non-ambulatory stroke patients, as well as offers bike fittings to avid bikers with hip and knee injuries.

Falls Risk Reduction: Get Up & Go

Each year, one in three adults over the age of 65 falls down, putting them at risk for head trauma and bone fractures. Our Get Up and Go program assesses risk factors, teaches balance techniques and exercises and helps seniors “fall proof” their home.
