Cervical (Neck) Discectomy & Fusion
Your spine is made up of vertebrae (bones) and discs. These discs act as cushions between each of the vertebrae to absorb shock and provide flexibility within the spine. Aging, illness or injury can cause these discs to
herniate, bulge or
rupture. This causes pressure on a nerve or the spinal cord. This procedure removes the damaged material and replaces it with a graft, joining the vertebrae.
Lumbar (Low Back) Fusion
This procedure joins (or
fuses) vertebrae together to treat unstable or misaligned vertebrae in the lower back.
Lumbar (Low Back) Microdiscectomy
Our surgeons use a special tool that provides them with a magnified view of discs and nerves. This enhanced view allows them to use a small incision in the removal of
herniated disc material that's causing pressure on a nerve.

A laminectomy removes part of the vertebrae in the lower back or neck when it has narrowed the spinal canal, squeezing the spinal cord and nerves.
