What to Expect
Activity staff focus on providing a variety of opportunities that bring enjoyment and meaning to each day. Activities include:

Participants arrive at the Adult Day Health Center and start their day with coffee and conversation with friends. Exercise and small group activities begin shortly thereafter. A hot, nutritious lunch is served, followed by an afternoon of special programs.
Scheduled Program Hours
Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with extended hours available.
Participants must be over the age of 18. People with long-term illness, disabilities and older adults are encouraged to attend. This includes individuals with health conditions such as stroke, diabetes, heart disease, depression, memory loss, or other chronic illness or disability.
Our staff provides a range of activities to enhance each participant's abilities. Exercise and training groups include balance, range of motion, walking, fall risk screening and fall prevention. Individualized therapies include strength training, stationary biking and participant and family education.
Our Adult Day Health Center seeks information from participants and their families about current and past hobbies so that daily activities are meaningful for all participants. Scheduled activities include guest speakers, live music, art classes, holiday programs, travel programs, health education and group games.
Specific medical supervision and individual care needs are identified for each participant to ensure their overall health and well-being.
The Adult Day Health Center attends to the specific needs of people who are in various stages of memory loss. Our dementia activities include pet therapy, reminisce groups, storytelling and music. All staff have expert knowledge about how to care for people with memory loss, and ensure that each participant's needs are responded to with compassion and care.
