His medical training includes a fellowship at the UCLA Department on Anesthesiology, a residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, and a medical school degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He holds a Bachelors degree from California State University, with a PA in Medical Education from Le Moyne College.
