Educators in our Seasons of Life Childbirth program are certified in their field and are recognized by the State of Washington. They are compassionate and professional educators who focus on evidence-based teaching.

Please register for your classes by your 4th month of pregnancy.

Big Sister, Big Brother-To-Be

Children will learn about life with a new baby, their special role, and safety issues.  They will make a card for the new arrival!

Preparing for Delivery

This class offers valuable information about labor and delivery, labor support, comfort measures, and relaxation techniques. A combination of lecture, active participation, and group discussion gives new parents confidence during this exciting time of their lives. One segment will explore baby care and breastfeeding. This is a weekend block class held on Friday & Saturday. Cost is $60 or a Washington State Medical Coupon or Care Oregon is accepted.

Our five week Preparing for Delivery class and weekend class, covers preparation for birth (nutrition and exercise), comfort measures during labor (positions, breathing techniques, massage, birthing ball), stages of labor, Cesarean delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and baby care.
