Physicians & Staff

Kim, C.R., M.D.

Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Radiology, Radiation Oncology. 

He is the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology and the Radiation Safety Officer/Chairman of the Radiation Safety Committee at St. John Medical Center.  

He is also the Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Kim received a number of honors and awards during his medical education, is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners of the United States and holds medical licenses in the states of Washington, Oregon and Maryland. His medical education includes:

Dr. Kim is published in many professional journals and is invited to give presentations on the many facets of radiation oncology including prostate cancer, mastering cancer treatment for today's patients and the future of radiation therapy.

H. Julian Tran, Ph.D.

Dr. Tran is our Medical Physicist overseeing the quality assurance (QA) program for the linear accelerator treatment machines and patient specific QA for IMRT (Intensity Modulation Radiation Treatment).

Dr. Tran finds applying his physics training to contribute to patient care quality and treatment outcome very satisfying and rewarding. 

  • He is being certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics
  • Member of the AAPM (American Association of Physicists in Medicine)
  • Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the University of British Columbia, Canada
  • Post graduate training in Medical Physics from Morristown Memorial Hospital, New Jersey.

He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is thrilled to be able to raise his family here.

Beverly Eaton, R.T. (T)/C.M.D.

Bev Eaton is the Manager Radiation Oncology/Certified Medical Dosimetrist

She serves as the manager of Radiation Oncology as well as the Certified Medical Dosimetrist for Radiation Oncology. She has spent her career developing a state of art Radiation Oncology facility. She is an experienced and knowledgeable medical dosimetrist implementing Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy for cancer patients in our community. In conjunction with Dr. CR Kim, Bev has been published in professional journals.

  • Began career at PeaceHealth in 1982
  • Attended the Swedish Tumor Institute School of Radiation Technology to obtain registry with the American Association of Registered Technologists (ARRT). 
  • Obtained certification in medical dosimetry through the University of Washington in 1998. 
  • Member of the American Association of Registered Technologists (ASRT)
  • Member of the American Association of Certified Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD)
