After a year of demolition and construction, PeaceHealth Medical Group opened the doors to the new Lakefront clinic at 1718 E. Kessler in Longview on June 27th.  "I’m very excited.  It’s a beautiful building!” said Project Operational Manager Christe McDaniel.  “This Lakefront clinic was designed based on feedback from our patients.  Lakefront brings more services under one roof, including laboratory and imaging services, and will even have convenient parking right outside the door.”

The Lakefront clinic is home to 12 primary care providers, Monday through Saturday.   “This new building allows PeaceHealth Medical Group to expand to meet the growing need for primary care services in our community,” said Aaron Rust, Regional Director of PeaceHealth Medical Group Primary Care Services. “This is a great one-stop shop for patients.  It’s a beautiful building, and will allow patients to receive care in an outpatient setting rather than a hospital setting.  Lakefront has a nice, comfortable feel to it, and the design reflects the attractiveness of its surroundings on the shores of Lake Sacajawea.”

Construction of the PeaceHealth Medical Group Lakefront clinic building began in mid-June, 2010 with the demolition of the Baptist church building that formerly occupied the site at the corner of 18th Avenue and E. Kessler Boulevard.  A groundbreaking ceremony for the new 18,593 square foot Lakefront clinic building was held on the site on July 7th, 2010.  Construction has proceeded on schedule throughout the project.
