Sy Johnson to be Honored with National Leadership Award

PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center CEO/Chief Mission Officer Josiah ‘Sy’ Johnson has been selected to be honored as one of eight members of the 2012 class of “Tomorrow’s Leaders” by the Catholic Healthcare Association.
The eight leaders were selected from nominations submitted from across the United States.  The honorees were singled out for their values, high performance, leadership potential, and contribution to community.
In a letter to Johnson, CHA President and Chief Executive Officer Sister Carol Keehan wrote:
“Congratulations on being selected for this honor. The gifts you bring to the ministry today and those you will bring in the years to come will ensure the vibrancy of our ministry and continue the mission of healing.”
“I am humbled to have been considered for this award,” said Johnson.  “Healthcare is a team effort.  All of our caregivers and our community should be proud of our accomplishments at PeaceHealth St. John and of the mission we serve caring for the people in our community.”
The award will be presented to Johnson during the Catholic Health Association’s National Assembly June 4th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
