Blood Conservation Program
Meet the Team
The Blood Conservation Program at PeaceHealth Southwest started in 2009. Since that time we have added a nursing and physician advisor and also two blood conservation specialists. Our team works with physicians and nurses throughout our hospital system to manage patients who want care without the use of blood.
Lance Holton, MD
Dr. Holton did residency and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. He has been part of Columbia Anesthesia Group since 2012 and has an interest in blood conservation. Dr. Holton had the opportunity to work with a large number of bloodless patients during residency and fellowship, bringing a great deal of experience and knowledge to our program.
Teresa Ochsner, BSN, MHCA
Director of Perioperative Services and the Blood Conservation program.
Parrish Bleau, Blood Conservation Specialist
Parrish joined the Blood Conservation team in 2011 and works as an Anesthesia Assistant. Parrish has worked as a caregiver since 2009. He has finished pre-requisites for nursing school and hopes to attend in the fall.
April Ching, Blood Conservation Specialist
April started in the operating room as an Anesthesia Tech in 2005 and started with the Blood Conservation Program in 2009. She currently is working on finishing her nursing degree.
