Allen Gabriel, MD, Named Associate Professor at Loma Linda University
Honor Recognizes Dr. Gabriel for Significant Accomplishments in Plastic Surgery
The President's Committee at Loma Linda University’s School of Medicine has honored Allen Gabriel, MD of PeaceHealth Medical Group – Plastic Surgery with promotion to the position of Associate Professor in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The President’s Committee’s action recognizes Dr. Gabriel’s significant accomplishments in education and research in plastic surgery. Dr. Gabriel currently volunteers distance learning to Loma Linda students and physicians.
"This promotion is a testimonial to the Herculean efforts Dr Gabriel continues to display in terms of research, publication, and teaching," said Subhas Gupta, MD, Chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. "In addition to his clinical prowess, he is making his mark both as a scholar and as a teacher. Our Department is fortunate to have him on the faculty and wish him well on his path to continued success."
Dr. Gabriel has published more than 100 articles and book chapters in medical journals and publications detailing his ongoing research and discoveries in the field of plastic surgery. In addition to his extensive work as an author, Dr. Gabriel has also logged tens of thousands of travel miles to present lectures at variety of symposia across the United States and abroad. Beyond his work as a surgeon and mentor, he has also spearheaded numerous international humanitarian missions, and created the non-profit organization “Pink Lemonade Project” to help and advocate for women affected by breast cancer.

About Dr. Gabriel
Allen Gabriel, MD is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Prior to this promotion he served as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda Department of Plastic Surgery. He holds a Honors Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Utah, a medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and his fellowship in Breast and Cosmetic Surgery at Vanderbilt University.
