When caregivers provide extraordinary support and compassionate care during
a visit or stay, many patients and family members want to express their gratitude. And it’s appreciated. As one
caregiver noted, “Providing compassionate support is part of being a caregiver. That’s what we do. Learning that we’ve made a real difference to a patient is the greatest reward we could receive.”
Now, patients and family members can initiate recognition of their special caregiver as a Guardian Angel. With a donation of any size, you can acknowledge the efforts of the caregiver who made a difference during your hospital stay.
As a non-profit hospital, Ketchikan General relies on your donations to sustain these programs.
Any caregiver who makes a difference can be an Angel. Each caregiver who is recognized by patients or family members will be honored as a Guardian Angel during a special presentation among peers and will receive a Guardian Angel pin, a photo of the presentation, a Guardian Angel certificate, and recognition in hospital publications.
