Physician Team

A multidisciplinary team of medical specialists performs Gamma Knife surgery at the Sacred Heart Gamma Knife Center. The team includes:

  • Neurosurgeons: doctors who specialize in surgery of the brain, spine and nervous system
  • Radiation oncologists: doctors who specialize in treating cancer with radiation therapy
  • Medical physicists: specialists who help design and set up new equipment and plan radiation treatment
  • Oncology nurses: registered nurses who treat and care for cancer patients

The Gamma Knife Center team comprises various specialists from four local practices who are committed to working with referring physicians and their patients to provide exceptional medicine and compassionate care.
