Outpatient Rehabilitation settles in at new location
Sacred Heart Medical Center’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Services has relocated to newly remodeled space in Suite 300A of PeaceHealth Medical Group’s University District clinic , 1200 Hilyard St. The new site is across the skybridge from its former fourth-floor location inside Sacred Heart’s University District hospital.
Outpatient Rehabilitation offers physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy, psychological testing, counseling and other services for patients with neurological disorders and other diagnoses. The new location is much closer to the parking garage, offering quicker and easier patient access.
The department is one of three that will move in the next few months as the hospital prepares to vacate some of the older buildings on the University District campus.
The Medical Unit, on the third floor of the hospital’s 1965 building, will relocate to the third floor of the soon-to-be refurbished Main Tower, at 13th Avenue and Hilyard Street. That unit includes Acute Care for Elders. And Inpatient Rehabilitation will move to the fourth floor of the Main Tower from its current home on the fifth floor of the hospital’s 1941/1951 building.
Outpatient Rehabilitation patients have received letters letting them know about the move. Questions? Call 541-686-7085.
