General Surgery

Each year, surgeons perform an average of 600 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries (cholecystectomies), 432 hernia operations and more than 400 appendectomies at our medical center.

As a high-volume center for gastrointestinal surgeries, including laparoscopic colorectal procedures, we are proud of our surgical outcomes.

Minimally Invasive Surgical Focus

Our focus on minimally invasive approaches helps reduce risk of infection and speed recovery.

Patients travel here from throughout the region to receive treatment from top-caliber surgeons who specialize in cancers and benign conditions of the esophagus, liver, spleen, bile ducts, pancreas, stomach and gallbladder.

Our surgical staff has been trained at prestigious institutions across the country, and that expertise contributes to a culture focused on patient safety and a track record of excellent outcomes.
