Hospitals announce name changes
Hospitals within PeaceHealth’s Oregon West Network are changing their names in a subtle but significant way. “PeaceHealth”—the name that links our four Lane County hospitals, clinics, medical groups and laboratories—is moving to the forefront. It’s becoming the umbrella under which our patients will experience our commitment to quality care, whether they encounter us in a Cottage Grove clinic, a Florence labor and delivery suite, a Springfield Intensive Care Unit or a Eugene emergency room.
Our new facility names reflect the breadth of services and common mission represented by the PeaceHealth name, and its associated promise to provide the spirit of healing to every person.
Our new names are:
PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend
PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District
PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center
PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center
The new names, which took effect on April 15, will also be reflected in the names of our four hospital foundations. The PeaceHealth Medical Group and PeaceHealth Laboratories names have not changed.
