Services

Our Sleep Disorders Center uses the latest technologies in an environment designed to put patients at ease. The Center provides evaluations, treatment and support for sleeping disorders affecting patients of all ages. Identifying the problem is the first step. The Sleep Medicine specialist will review your health history and listen to your experience and may also perform a physical exam and/or a sleep study.
Sleep Studies
Sleep studies are done in a sleep lab, which provides a comfortable setting with a private, home-like bedroom. With the help of high-tech monitoring equipment and a sleep technician who watches and records your sleep patterns, your sleep medicine specialist can begin to determine what the problem is and decide the kind of therapies that might help.
Equipment
If CPAP equipment is prescribed for you, our CPAP educator will train you to use this equipment and answer any questions you might have.
Our Durable Medical Equipment program allows us to loan prescribed equipment to our patients.
Support Groups
Our Sleep Center hosts Puget Sound Sleepers, a support group for people with sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. This health awareness group is part of the AWAKE network (Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic) that gives members the opportunity to learn and share information and tips on healthy sleep. To register, contact Trisha Bannerman.
