We ask that all visits to the clinic be scheduled, and that you call in with any questions or concerns not answered on these pages.
How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
To schedule an appointment, you can contact us
. Once you have come in for your initial visit, you can sign up for PeaceHealth PatientConnection
, which allows you to schedule future visits online.
What if I Need to Cancel an Appointment?
Please contact us
at least 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. Our staff will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
Do I Need an Appointment for a Protime Check or a Vitamin B 12 Shot?
Yes, all visits need to be scheduled. The Anti-Coagulation Clinic and Nurse visits are available daily. If you have a planned visit with your clinician, you can receive either your Protime or B-12 shot during that visit. In this case, you would not need a separate visit. Please discuss this with the scheduler if you have questions.
What About Blood Pressure Checks?
You are welcome to schedule a Nurse Visit to have your blood pressure checked. We also offer a handout on other places in the area where you can get your blood pressure checked, which may be more convenient for you.
What Should I Expect During My First Visit?
Plan to spend at least two hours at the clinic for your first visit. We will need additional time to complete your paperwork, enter your information into the computer system, and get to know you. If possible we will have you meet with our Medical Social Worker, Mary Ann Hanseth, for a brief introduction to the Clinic. You will spend time with a nurse to go over your medications. Your visit with the clinician will include, in most cases, a comprehensive medical history and an examination.
What Do I Do When I Arrive For My Appointment?
Please register with the front desk staff when you arrive. For your initial visit, please arrive at the time indicated on your welcome letter.
For subsequent visits, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for registration time. Registration must be completed prior to each appointment time. It is not considered part of your appointment.
