While our ER reduces the need for off-Island medical transport, we continue to maintain strong, reliable partnerships with San Juan Island EMS Island Air Ambulance​ and Airlift Northwest for that transportation, if needed.

Our ER staff provides preparatory care for those who do need to be transferred off-Island, including medical diagnostics, stabilization, intubation and general assessments and interventions. The ER is also available for “walk-in” minor illnesses, injuries, and emergency obstetrics.​​​​
