Robert Pelz, MD, PhD

Dr. Pelz is board certified in internal medicine, infectious diseases and critical care medicine. He is currently practicing with PeaceHealth Medical Group on inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases consultation and general internal medicine and critical care. He serves on the Physician’s Council of PeaceHealth Medical Group and is chair of the Infection Control Committee at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Dr. Pelz is also a Hospitalist for Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Dr. Pelz is a graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School. Additionally, he has a PhD in Clinical Investigation from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. He completed his residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health.
