Cervical Disc Arthroplasty: Science and Results of a Controlled Randomized

Dr. Hacker is well published with 20 journal articles, 14 national presentations, and five book chapters on topics ranging from interbody and cervical fusion cages to cervical disc arthroplasty. His audiences have included the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the World Spine Society and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Hacker has been an invited faculty member 21 times with these same organizations. He has participated in four FDA studies and acted as principal clinical investigator on an FDA panel studying the cervical interbody fusion cage device. 

Dr. Hacker is board certified in neurological surgery. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical School and received postgraduate medical training at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, West Virginia University Medical School and Montreal Neurological Institute. He was Clinical Instructor of Neurosurgery at Nebraska College of Medicine and Chief of Neurosurgery at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
