A Campaign for the Future, Naturally
Dream of new Birth Center becomes a reality
Make a Gift to the Birth Center Campaign
Thanks to the generosity of donors, families in our
community will have access to the kind of birth experience that feels
right – all in an updated facility adjacent to the world-class Women’s &
Children’s Services available at RiverBend. We have met our initial
fundraising goals and will continue to secure support as the current
PeaceHealth Nurse Midwifery Birth Center (formerly on 12th Avenue in
Eugene) transitions into to a spacious, homey facility at 353 Deadmond
Ferry Road in Springfield.
Would you like an insider’s perspective on the new
birth center, featuring two dedicated birth suites with jet tubs (for
the possibility for water birth), expanded facilities, a healing garden
– and so much more?. Click
here for full details and floor plans.
During the transition, which will be complete around
Father’s Day 2010, Sacred Heart’s Certified Nurse Midwives will still
run the prenatal clinic, follow patients through labor and delivery, and
oversee post-natal care. Births will temporarily take place in one of
the beautiful birthing rooms on the 5th floor of RiverBend, until our
new facility is up and running. There is nothing more important than
ensuring the right beginning to a brand new life. Thank you so much to
all the generous supporters who gave now – and who continue to give –
for the future.
