As you visit PeaceHealth properties and facilities, we would like you to be aware of our tobacco-free policy.
Use of tobacco products is prohibited on all PeaceHealth properties. If you must use tobacco, you will need to do so off grounds. |
Effective November 16, 2006
If you are being admitted to the hospital, please check with the nurse for full information on how to make your stay comfortable and manageable without use of tobacco products. While a patient in the hospital, please check in with
nursing staff for policy implications affecting your treatment and stay.
When planning a stay in the hospital, it is best to quit using tobacco products a minimum of six weeks prior to your
procedure. Ask your doctor for specific recommendations.
