St. John Medical Center Foundation

      Cathy Barr,
   Executive Director

Creating a future worthy of our past.  This describes the St. John Foundation Board of Directors’ mission.  It is my sincere pleasure to work with this Board of motivated, compassionate individuals who recognize the importance of living in a healthy community.

We all recognize and appreciate all of the work that was done by our predecessors and we want to be sure that the future we are helping to mold reflects and builds on the hard work of the past.  This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary of service to this community.  Much has happened in those 20 years; the creation of A Child’s Place, Lower Columbia Regional Cancer Center, Sr. Margaret Anna Cusack Women’s Health Pavilion just to name a few of our projects. Now, our focus turns to the renovation of the hospital and emergency department.

We want to make sure that the next 20 years is just as productive and provides the needed funds to enhance the services and care given to our family and friends when they enter St. John.  I have no doubt that the current Board will do just that.

No matter what the changes or the challenges, the Foundation will continue its goal of working together to promote and provide a healthier future for the people in our community.  This is going to be a great year!

Through the power of philanthropy, all things are possible.
