The Columbia Theatre is the only performing arts facility of its size and
stature in Southwest Washington. The Theatre serves nearly 100,000 people in the
region as well as tourists to near-by Mount St. Helens and residents in
Vancouver and the greater Portland area.
Formerly a 1925 vaudeville/movie house, the beautifully preserved auditorium is
in the Italian Renaissance style. It seats 1,000 patrons and boasts excellent
acoustics. The ornate proscenium-type stage has an orchestra pit, and is
serviced by a 32 line hemp system. Each season audiences enjoy a wide array of
