Our outpatient clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology. The department offers outpatient rehabilitative services including, but no limited to:
Therapists coordinate with a patient’s care team, including doctors, nurses, social workers, the diabetes educator and registered dietician.
Our 29-bed skilled nursing facility has an outdoor area, activity room, and a large kitchen area to simulate home challenges where our therapists work 1-1 with residents to support their rehabilitative needs.
Home Health Therapists coordinate services with each other and nursing services to serve patients in their home, including the Pioneer Home.
We serve many Ketchikan residents, an area well-known for its hills and stairs. This often adds a degree of difficulty for our patients. We help accommodate those who come from remote areas by ferry or float plane and need to time therapy with transportation schedules.
PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center’s dedicated and knowledgeable therapy team consists of both generalized and specialized physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals. Our certified specialists include an orthopedic certified specialist, vestibular specialist, Certified Lymphedema Specialist and Certified Functional Capacity Examiner.
This clinic is licensed as part of PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center. You may receive a separate charge or billing for facility fees in addition to any professional fees for services, which may result in a higher out-of-pocket expense.
