Our People

Modern facilities and friendly people will greet you on your visit to Ketchikan General Hospital

We are a dedicated, knowledgeable and strong core therapy staff whose focus is both exceptional medicine and compassionate care.

We live in Ketchikan for its beauty, culture, recreation opportunities, social activities and the strong arts community. We boat, fish, garden, quilt, sing, hike, kayak, have bonfires and take photos with our families and friends.

We are blessed to serve patients with the help of temporary therapists who bring a variety of excellent skills and competencies.

Patient Testimonials

"I am very grateful for both the quality of care and the great attitudes of my orthopedic surgeon Dr. Bruce Schwartz, the nurses, and our therapists. The exceptional care I've received inspires me to do what I need to do on my own to continue my progress toward my rehabilitation goals.

"I especially want the community to know that we do not need to go outside of Ketchikan for their hip replacement surgery and therapy. We’ve got a gem right here in our own backyard."
Rebecca Valentine, KMC therapy patient

"We are fortunate to have knowledgeable, professional and caring therapists here in town. They have made the difference for me to remain active while coping with chronic disease. They have made a difference for me."
Alaire Stanton, KMC therapy patient
