George F. Sawaya, MD - Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive SciencesDr. Sawaya is an assistant professor in residence in the Department
of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of
California, San Francisco. Dr. Sawaya serves as chairman of the UCSF Pap Smear
Task Force and on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Comprehensive Cancer
Center grant. His research interests focus on cervical cancer screening, for which
he has received numerous grants and served as principal investigator. Dr.
Sawaya is a frequent lecturer and author or coauthor of articles in
