Thanks to extraordinary generosity, the Healthcare Reimagined Campaign has reached and surpassed its goal of transforming emergency care at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center — expanding space, enhancing care delivery and strengthening community support systems.
Today, the newly reimagined Emergency Department offers a modern, healing-centered environment — doubling care capacity and improving patient experience for thousands of people every year.

Community health — a new model for whole-person care
Healthcare Reimagined introduced the Community Health Hub — a collaborative space where medical care and community support come together.
Here, patients connect with essential services — housing support, behavioral health resources, food security partners and more — in the moment they need them most.
Because nearly half of emergency visits involve non-medical needs, this hub represents a new approach to healing — addressing root causes while maintaining dignity and respect.
Looking Ahead: The Community Health Hub will continue to rely on philanthropic partnership so that this model of whole-person care remains strong and sustainable for years to come.
